The Guilford County Workforce Development Board, through the City of Greensboro as its administrative entity, is soliciting contractors to provide the following service to WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker participants of the Guilford County NCWorks Centers:

    • Provision of individualized and training services that include a combination of training, employment, and job retention services. It involves a process whereby eligible Adults and Dislocated Workers receive assessment services, career planning and counseling, employment leads, and, if necessary, career training opportunities via Individual Training Account (ITA) vouchers and connections to eligible training providers. These services must be delivered in an Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) framework as defined through the NC Department of Commerce’s framework and policy statements.
    • Proposals should address innovative strategies that enhance a participant’s ability to move into self-sustaining employment, resulting in an upwardly mobile career path and higher earnings potential. The provision of a full array of services should be included in your proposal response. Program designs should include: 1) strategies that reflect effective jobseeker assistance that addresses the basic needs and goals of individuals facing economic barriers; 2) integration of intensive case-managed programming into the existing local Workforce Center structure; 3) proactive strategies to involve employers in the design of service strategies and implementation of the program; and 4) the delivery of services to both job seekers and employers
  • Services would be expected to begin on or as soon after July 1, 2020 as feasible
