We help people in North Carolina find jobs. To accomplish that, we administer a statewide system of workforce programs that prepare North Carolinians for employment.
We offer services for adults, veterans, youth, and more. We help employers find the qualified talent they need to make their businesses thrive. To maintain the quality of all those services, we train our state’s workforce professionals.
Senior Community Service Employment Program
NCBA
As the oldest and most effective voice for African American and low-income minority seniors, NCBA provides the support our seniors have earned and the advocacy they deserve.
NCBA provides employment training through its Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) and job placement for qualified seniors through the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program.

Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA) programs

The Division of Services for the Blind provides services to people who are visually impaired, blind and deaf-blind to help them reach their goals of independence and employment.

Welfare Reform Liaison Project, Inc.
Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) programs
The Employment & Training Program at WRLP provides workforce development training to individuals in Guilford County. Participants receive classroom training & participate in job training.
Welfare Reform strives to meet the needs of both economically disadvantaged individuals and potential employers.
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program
Guilford County Department of Social Services
TANF uses a holistic approach to assure safety, promote self-sufficiency and permanency in the lives of adults, children, and families through collaboration and partnership within the community.
We work in partnership with the community toward the empowerment of individuals and families, to eliminate poverty and family violence.
