The Summer Experience that Lasts a Lifetime!

Find your future workers while helping them find their future work.

GuilfordWorks encourages you to offer Guilford County youths—your future workforce—six weeks of paid employment this summer. Take advantage of this opportunity to fill your talent gap with young adults eager to learn from practical work experiences. Meanwhile, you’ll be able to tackle that endless to-do list, broaden your talent pool, gain new perspectives on your business, and so much more, all while mentoring young minds to become your future workforce; we’ll take care of the rest.

How we connect you with your future workforce.

Applicants are encouraged to attend a mini boot camp session—which includes interviewing skills, conflict resolution, financial literacy, etc.—before being connected to their prospective work experience. Attendance to this three-hour session is required for individuals to be certified as “preferred candidates.” We evaluate each student’s work readiness before placement based on timely attendance and successful completion of the three-hour session.

Completing the boot camp qualifies the youth for a direct referral to your hiring managers for scheduled interviews.
