HIGH POINT, NC (February 10, 2021) — The NCWorks Career Center in High Point was awarded a plaque for its unwavering support and dedication to the High Point Housing Authority. They emphasized NCWorks’ involvement with the Family Self-Sufficiency Program, where the Empowerment Series is taught bi-weekly. They were most grateful for the discussion topics and the increase in attendance when the series transitioned to virtual sessions. Attendees range from tenants who are seeking employment, seeking a job/career change, training opportunities, résumé and interviewing assistance, and entrepreneurship.
