GuilfordWorks invites employers in Guilford County to join the Triad Area Clean Energy Council. This convening of local and regional employers in clean energy sectors of Advanced Manufacturing, STEM, and Electric Vehicles aims to collaborate with community partners to build sustainable talent pipelines.
Working together, the Triad Area Clean Energy Council relies on regional labor market data, educational and training partnerships to enhance the economic growth of the region’s clean energy sector. According to North Carolina’s Environmental Quality Clean Energy Plan, a key priority is accelerating clean energy innovation, development, and deployment to create economic opportunities for various areas of the state.
The Triad Area Clean Energy Council is represented by several notable employers, such as Toyota Battery Manufacturing NC, Soelect Inc., Autel Energy, Phase Change Solutions, and the City of Greensboro. It meets on the third Thursday of each quarter.
