Jennifer Stokes — GuilfordWorks MIS Specialist

Jennifer successfully completed the Intro to Leadership course offered by the City of Greensboro in May of this year. Intro to Leaderships is a course the City offers that covers understanding leadership, workplace engagement, project management, and employee development planning. Jennifer is excited to continue to grow her skills and utilize the knowledge she learned through the program.

Joyce Rice, MBA — GuilfordWorks Business Services Consultant

Joyce Rice recently graduated from Leadership High Point, a 10-month program of Business High Point – Chamber of Commerce that transforms actively engaged citizens and leaders into community champions and Chamber ambassadors. After graduating from the program this year, she is excited to utilize her knowledge and experience from the program to connect with other leaders and continue to contribute to the High Point community.

Lee Howell, Jr. — NCWorks Digital Skills Instructor

Lee Howell was awarded the Working SMART Certification and says that with this certification and curriculum, he hopes that all Guilford County youth will be engaged and work-ready. The Working SMART Certification is an evidence-based soft skills curriculum that outlines important skills to retain employment. The curriculum features 16 different lessons, from personal branding, dealing with stress, active listening, and more. Lee is excited to actively engage with our community’s youth through real-life scenarios people will experience in their personal lives.
