GuilfordWorks and Piedmont Alliance for Triad Healthcare (PATH) partnered to host PATH Regional Healthcare Expo, a virtual healthcare hiring event on March 30th. As workforce partners, PATH aims to expand healthcare workforce development in the Piedmont-Triad area through industry and education partners and workforce development.

We conducted the PATH Regional Healthcare Expo using the Premier Virtual platform. Through this platform, each booth is customizable and allows multiple recruiters the opportunity to engage directly with attendees. Job seekers can apply for jobs as soon as they enter the virtual event and speak directly with employers about specific job opportunities.

Four regional workforce development boards, including PTRC (Piedmont Triad Regional Council), Regional Partnership, DavidsonWorks and GuilfordWorks, united in delivering this event. The regional approach leveraged each workforce system and duplicated communication and promotional efforts with employers and job seekers.

The event included 21 registered booths representing employers from Davidson-Davie-Surry, Guilford, Forsyth, and Alamance Counties, with 150 job postings for 900 vacant positions. The event concluded with 126 registrants, 450 employer booth visits, 2377 chat messages, and 192 submitted resumes.

Many employers shared feedback about the event and are excited about the upcoming opportunities to grow and support workforce development in healthcare. Several employers also mentioned that they scheduled meetings with candidates they met through the event. You can read their comments below.
